Dolby E Encoding and Decoding - Plug-ins For Pro Tools and Standalone Application
SoundCode For Dolby E adds licensed Dolby E encoding and decoding directly to your Windows or Mac Pro Tools, Media Composer, Final Cut or other media workstation. By encoding your broadcast mixes with Dolby E, you can deliver surround and multi-program audio to broadcasters worldwide. It operates as a Pro Tools plug-in and as a standalone application and is compatible with current tape-based workflows and future file-based workflows. SoundCode For Dolby E is easy to use. Just point the Broadcast Encoder Audiosuite plug-in or standalone application to your finished mixes and it will encode audio and Dolby metadata into a stereo WAV file faster-than-realtime. The resulting encode can be layed back to video tape, sent to a video post house for layback, or sent directly to the broadcaster. The Broadcast Monitor plug-in can decode a live Dolby E stream in realtime for confidence monitoring, decode a Dolby E file directly synchronized to the timeline as an RTAS or Audiosuite plug-in, decode Dolby E file to audition using Core Audio or Windows MME hardware, and decode a Dolby E file to BWF files. SoundCode For Dolby E also implements the same BWF and RF64 export/import features found in SoundCode For Broadcast. SoundCode For Dolby E is the easy choice for delivering Dolby E.
